Performing a rapid run requires a single-use HiSeq Rapid Cluster Kit v2 and a single-use HiSeq Rapid SBS Kit v2. The kits contain a flow cell and reagents for clustering and sequencing on the HiSeq 2500 System in Rapid Run mode.
Alternatively, you can use the cBot 2 or cBot System to load two libraries onto the flow cell, one in each lane. This option requires the HiSeq Rapid Duo cBot Sample Loading Kit in addition to the HiSeq Rapid Cluster Kit v2 and HiSeq Rapid SBS Kit v2. The HiSeq Rapid Duo cBot Sample Loading Kit performs template hybridization and first extension on the cBot 2 or cBot. Clustering is then completed on the HiSeq 2500.

When you receive your kits, promptly store kit components at the indicated temperatures to ensure proper performance:
HiSeq Rapid Cluster Kit v2 reagents are shipped in one box on dry ice. A two-lane rapid flow cell and gaskets are also included.

HiSeq Rapid SBS Kit v2 reagents are shipped in two boxes: one is shipped at room temperature and the other is shipped on dry ice. Reagents are sensitive to light. Store the reagent cartridge in a dark location away from light.
Reagents are labeled with a three-letter acronym plus a numeric designator that indicates the kit size. For example, if you are using CRM-50, the CRM was provided in a 50-cycle kit.
